INDUSTRIA METALLURGICA ODOBEZ (IMO)
is a privately owned family forged founded in Lecco in 1840. In 2000 the company moved to the new purpose build premises in Ballabio (Lc), near the shores of Lake Como. Since then significant capital investment has taken place, enabling the Company to offer a full "turnkey" service to its customers - from unmachined/black forgings to fully machined pieces - including additional precisions sub-contract operations such as chrome plating. Besides the traditional forging department, 'Odobez' has a modern and efficient mechanical workshop covering the full ranges of machining operations of turning, milling, drilling, boring, grinding, repairing, as well as the ability to assemble finished components.
Today 'Odobez' is able to undertake the forging and machining of pieces from 10 to 10,000 kg. in a very diverse range of material grades.
The flexibility offered by modern equipment, processes and highly trained staff, allows rapid and efficient production - even for the most complicated of jobs, enabling 'Odobez' to ensure better guarantees of "quality and delivery", even for the most exacting customers.
