Forging is the most important process in the production of our products.
Our forging equipment:

N°4 forging manipulators
The forging department makes it possible to make forgings with a wide dimensional range:
Minimum forging capacity for a single piece: 5 kg
Maximum forging capacity for a single piece: 30.000 kg
Maximum diameter – for carbon steel: 2500 mm
Maximum diameter – for stainless steel: 2300 mm
Maximum length: 12000 mm
In addition to the innovative technologies, the heart of our forging department is represented by the experience and manual skills of our forgers.
Their expertise, honed over years of activity, is essential to managing every phase of the process with precision, ensuring the optimal quality of the finished product.
Forging denotes the hot plastic deformation process gained by heating a steel component to high temperatures around 900-1200°C and then being processed by forging presses or hammers.
As a result of this process, forging is obtained, a product characterized by very high mechanical properties compared to other types of hot work such as casting and die-casting.
For the above-mentioned reason, forging products are suitable for environments that require the highest possible performance such as intensely stressed mechanical parts and other critical conditions.
The heat treatment phase follows the forging to accentuate the required mechanical properties and reduce unwanted ones.
Finally, mechanical processes transform the forging into a finished or semi-finished product.
